How long have you been working for top-jobs-europe?
I’ve been working for the company since 2000.
What did you do prior to that?
After finishing my studies in Mechanical Engineering, I worked for a Media Agency, doing HR marketing for print media and internet. Later I moved on to HR Consulting.
What do you consider your main responsibility in your job?
Keeping contact with the customers, the search for suitable candidates, and of course contacting those candidates. And of course I also conduct job interviews.
What do you like most about your work?
I enjoy the contact with customers and potential candidates. Because the positions and customers vary a lot, every project brings something new. I like being constantly challenges with something new.
What was the most difficult project you worked on – successfully – so far?
That is difficult to say, as every single project has its own difficulties. One that proved difficult was a Development Engineer for power-train control modules. The challenge here lay in the complex requirement profile. That part of the industry is quite small, and the candidates are not very inclined to change jobs. Hence, we had to put in some efforts at persuasion.
What does a typical word day look like?
Usually, I start out with online research, and later work through the correspondence with customers and candidates. Phone calls with candidates usually happen in the evening, though. I regularly have appointments with customers and job interviews with candidates out of the office.
What are you working on at the moment?
Among others, I am currently working on a project for Russia. A customer is looking for a General Manager for their Moskow branch.
