How long have you been working for top-jobs-europe?

I started working for top-jobs-europe in 1994, with an internship. Then I got a full contract in 1997 as management assistant, project manager, team leader in personnel consulting and now HR consultant.

What did you do prior to that?

Before, I studied.

What do you consider your main responsibility in your job?

I look for and find technical management personnel, (specialists, from managers to directors), both in recruitment and technical functions, do recruitment, selection, approach suitable candidates, and conduct interviews. Mostly, I focus on automotive (wholesale and retail automotive trade, OEM, Tier 1 and 2), mechanical engineering and drive technology.

 What do you like most about your work?

The nice collegues and team.

The interesting and changing tasks, the opportunity to get in contact with many different kinds of people (customers and candidates), and how you constantly learn new things about various industries and jobs.

And of course there’s the wonderful feeling once you managed to fill a difficult position.

 What was the most difficult project you worked on – successfully – so far?

Oh, I’d really have to think about that. Every projects is special in its own way, to that’s hard to tell.

 What does a typical work day look like?

That is hard to say. Usually I answer emails, then search for suitable candidates using the phone or the internet, compile job profiles and ads, conduct phone interviews, talk to customers, and to research about positions, companies ..
